    albino and pied

    Hello all,

Well I have a question. I have hets for pied and am getting a pair of het for albino from Bob Clark in Jan (yea!!!). Once they breed and I hopefully get a pied and an albino I can mate together my question is will I get some albino pieds or will I have to work on that double het thing. I am not sure but I'm afraid I will have to breed the whole double het thing to get both recessive traits to show. Any comments would be helpful, Thanks.

If you breed an albino and a pied together, all of the babies will look normal but be double hets, both for albino and pied. You would have to grow those babies up and breed them together to shoot for an albino pied.
