Just some thoughts and a little bragging

So I am pretty new to these forums and just felt like posting some about my new snake Henry, sorry no pics yet, I cant find the cable for my camera.
I picked Henry up Thanksgiving weekend and he is doing great!!! he was born in August so he is still jsut a baby, so exciting I can't wait until he gets bigger! He fed successfully on my first attempt last Saturday so that was fun and I will try to feed him again tomorrow, I am very excited. He is so calm, whenever I take him out he pretty much just sits wherever I put him unless I move. He doesnt like to be "petted" so much (pretty much what I expectied) especially his tail, and don't think about trying to touch his head, he doesn't like that. One funny thing is he does not like my leg hairs at all, whenever he touches them with his head he jerks away and finds somewhere else to go.

It is so exciting to be a snake owner and I already can't imagine not having him, it was a worthwhile investment and I am already contemplating my next purchase. And of course there is always the thought of breeding but that is several years away for me especially still being in college and all.

Well I just wanted to share a little bit about my limited experience with snakes and how much I enjoy it and I just want to thank everyone here, this is an incredibly valuable resource and I could not have done it without this site.
Thank you to JLC for the help my first week and reasuring me that everything is gonna be ok and the great advice. I look forward to getting to know all of you and posting pictures here in a couple of weeks.
