    snake in a speaker

my five month ball escaped her tank two weeks ago and i have been searching everywhere. i pulled out my floor speaker near her tank and was relieved to see a snake trail through the dust. the only problem is that its been two weeks and i can not get her to come out. i had a mouse in a cage right next to the hole of the speaker and have tried everything. the speaker wont come apart so if anyone has any clues on how to get her to come out i would greatly appreciate it.

i have gotten my hands in as far as possible but there are large things in the wayonce i get in. there is also a layer of thick felt on the inside which is why im almost positive she is still in there.

    Re: snake in a speaker

If its a floor speaker you should be able to take the speaker grill off the front and unscrew the speaker. You should be able to see her in there after taking the speaker out...However these snakes are nocturnal so theres a possibility while your sleeping she may slither out of there sometime in the middle of the night. I would definetly take evasive action and and try to take the speaker out of the box. Is it a full range box or a subwoofer?

Maybe you can blast her out lol... Snakes don't have ears but I'd imagine that the vibrations from the box would make her want to come out.

    I don't know though...Just an idea

its a full range and has plenty of room inside to hide. i didnt think to take the speaker out i have just been reaching in through the back. and i have been covering all exits since she has been missing so im sure i have her contained in one room. i will get back to you all with news later tonight.

well are you 100% certain that those "tracks" were going to and not from the speaker?
