    just a quick question

i was just wondering if it was safe to use a thermostat to its full capacity, like if it was rated at 500 watts would it be safe to plug in 500 watts of heating equipment into that thermostat. or even though it is rated a 500 watts does it need some breathing room? or is it safe to do this?

    thanks!
