    Diamond Doves

One of our renters raises some diamond doves and they recently had some eggs hatch. Since our 19 year old cockatiel died we haven't had any birds around. I think that Im gonna try to get a couple. I have a couple questions though about birds in general. I have to put them in my room in the basement. its about 70F in there now and for the rest of winter. Is this too cold. Also I burn incense in my room a lot, will this bother them.

    Re: Diamond Doves

I had a pair of diamond doves, they're good little birds! 70 degrees should be fine, but 60 or below would be an issue. Not sure on the incense, we burn candles on a regular basis and our doves didn't seem to care. Here's a great site about them!
