it's common it's an irredescent(sp) coloring. it is very visible if you take them out in the sunlight. it's very pretty though especially if your lucky to catch it on film.

Yes, it is pretty normal. My adult female has that look pretty strongly; seems like it's more noticible in the darker ones. The one I am talking about is in my avatar; you can actually see the blueish in that tiny pic!
