    New Snake

    I just recently bought a ball python. And was wondering what should i know about having one. And should i feed them in there own cage? Please let me know.

    Second, I think you should take the time to read this caresheet. It sounds like you didnt do much researching.

    Yes you can feed in the same cage. All that crap about mistaking the hand for food is a big myth...

    I'd just like to say that I did quite a bit of research before buying a snake, but it turned out there's a lot of bad information out there, and my setup was all wrong according to the information I found here. I ended up with a sick snake despite doing research, and luckily found the people in this forum to help me get things right.
    I'm just saying....maybe chastising people who are asking for help is not as productive as just pointing them to the caresheet and keeping personal opinions to ones self.
    Sorry, not meaning to be a 'meanie' here, but when I found this forum I got nothing but support and help, which is what I was looking for. I passed over quite a few other forums due to the attitudes I saw there before finding this one
