    Handling New Corns?

Hey everyone. This saturday I got my first corn snakes . My question is, how long do you have to wait to handle them? The breeder recommended waiting until thursday, which is their schedualed feeding day. I know some people say 2-3 days. . . any opinions? I'm getting impatient, but I'll do what's right. I just wish I could hold them .

    A full week.

Do not feed them on thursday. Wait until your no-handling week is over to feed them

I recommend getting each corn their own enclosure...
snakes don't need and don't benefit from company..

    same applies to corns

    Re: Handling New Corns?

As a word of warning, baby corns aren't easy to handle. They're usually pretty flighty and like to squirm and try to jump away from you. I would be too if I were that tiny. Once they grow a little they'll calm down. My 2 year olds are a docile as anything now. I just purchased a few new ones, and I'll only handle them to transfer them from one container to another during feeding and cleaning. I don't see any sense in stressing them out. When they're a little bigger and not so insecure, I'll handle them more.
