I am really sorry; my only escapee was sadly found in my basement in a deceased state; since that happened years ago, I have become fanatical in my cage creation; all of our cages are escape proof. But again, accidents can happen; one case of a near-escape involved myself forgetting to put the lid back onto Bela's cage. I seriously wish you luck; sometimes they do turn up.

Re: really sad day for me

Hey i am new to this whole snake thing. But I know exactly what ur going thru. Two days ago my stupid moment had me and two of my friends scouring the house to absolutely nothing but dust that didnt look touched. Well about 5 oclock this morning my gf got the surprise of her life as she was getting a glass of water and he slid across her foot. But best of wishes to u. Everyone on here seems to be very knowledgable and searching their lost stories will give u some great ideas to try. And when you find him (not if) dont forget ur significant other cuz i figured out they want to be special, and now she is very jealous of my Buddha.

Re: really sad day for me

No monty still. I've been up for almost 3 days now trying to find him the only reason i posted this a couple days after he disappeared was because i also just got my internet back from a eally bad power outtage i just had. I do have other pets i have a parakeet, and a rabbit. i've had other pets in my years but the ball python has and will always be one of my fav reptiles of all times i am going to get another one even if monty shows up or not but i'm hoping he does. i am also adopting this saturday a very aggressive chinese dwarf hamster because the store i work at just got on in to put up for adoption and no one can handle it because anytime u put your hand in its cage it bites you real hard. so i decided i would take him and i already named him lil' monster. also i have a ferret on the way in a couple of week from now and her name is autumn.

thats a list of some pets i am getting. some pets i have, and a pet i hope shows back up soon. i've taken all the heating ducts apart down stairs, and the ones i can get to in the rooms. he is not in them so i am thinking that he is in the wall. i hope i find him soon i've been sick to my stomach feeling helpless not knowing where he is. sorry for such a long post about alot of ramble probably
well i gotta get going so i can continue my search.
    peace and love

Re: really sad day for me

SSOOO sorry to hear that... Someone told me once that they had a BP get out... He said that he took a frozen mouse and sat in the middle of the floor with a hair dryer on it... he said the snake came out after aprox. 1/2 hr. Now, I have NO IDEA if this is true or not, but it might be worth a shot??? Like RGoddess said... throwin "finding" vibes your way!

have you tried looking under the fridge? based on personal experiences YEARS ago...(dont ask how many) my bp got out and I was told to look under the fridge, in the bathroom under the sink, under kitchen sink...etc...anywhere they can get thats warm and dark.

probably didnt tell you anything you didnt already know, huh? sorry bout that, but am sending good thoughts your way.
