    Albinos - Lavendar, Carmel, Regular...

Has anyone bred the different variations together?

I've questioned this before and the consensus was that each one is a separate morph and cannot be bred together.

    It would be cool though!!

Re: Albinos - Lavendar, Carmel, Regular...

Well, they can be bred together to create double hets that can be bred back to each other for a double recessive. However, I've never heard of this being done. Creating a double recessive animal is a very time-consuming process and I imagine most breeders choose to use their expensive recessive animals for projects that are more likely to produce visually stunning results.

Although, who's to say that a Caramel and Lavendar would not be an amazing combo??? It's all a gamble.

I kind of expected you would have to go the double het route for Carmel x albino, but what about the Lavender? It seems like that might be compatible with a regular albino...
