What a day so far!
Get up and do my normal routine, get the kids off to school, run some business errands....
To come home to a call from my daughters school, "we think she broke her hand while at gym". So I go get her, and take her to the hosp. for x-rays. And yes, her hand is messed up....
While leaving the ER, I find a note on my bronco from my eldest sister, letting me know my niece just had her baby this AM. So, I move the bronco over to the normal hosp. parking and head over to check out our families new edition!
Kay Lynn, was born this AM, weighing in at just over 6 lbs. My niece was lucky, her labor was a piece of cake and went well without any complications. And thankfully, she was smart enough to stay home till she was almost fully dialated instead of sitting in the hosp. miserable waiting for nature to take its course with her...

Thanks Nate! The whole family is just pleased to be graced with yet ANOTHER girl...
Next month, my youngest sister is due to have her baby girl! Oh, I cant wait!
My daughters hand has several of the small bones within the palm area broken along with her little pinky finger, she will definately live, but until it heals, its percocet for her! Victoria was playing soccer at school, and somehow, the goal box which is HEAVY steel, fell over and smashed her hand. She attends the high school in the AM, cause part of her classes are at the high school (where she was hurt) and the rest of the day is at the jr high... because they were unable to contact me from the HS right away, they were going to call an ambulance, Victoria told them she did not need an ambulance, so they sent her back over to the JR high to wait it out to reach me....

Congrats on the new family addition! I hope Mom and Baby are doing well!
And I'm SO sorry to hear about your daughter! What a bummer! Give her a big hug and kiss from all of us here! (Some consolation chocolate might not hurt, either. )
