    probing question (lol)

    hey yall....i want to probe my little jungle to see whether its a male or a female....and i wanted to know how much it is and if it hurts the snake and/or change the behavior towards me later on because of that thanks

    You should probably learn how to probe in person from someone experienced doing it. Perhaps you could find a vet in the area that would be willing to coach you along the first time and show you.

    like spaniard stated, have someone show you, you can seriously injure the animal if done improperly. nothing worse then a punched thrue female/male at breeding time.

    Probing does not cause the snake to change its attitude.Though some will bite whomever is within there reach lol.If the person really knows what they are doing then it will not harm your snake.It will cause him a little discomfort though .Find a vet(one who specializes in reptiles) or a breeder to have this done.Some might do it free or the vet might do it during a checkup.

    thanks......well of course i would never do it myself haha i just wanted to know if theres a good known place in L.A.
