Ball Python less activity in winter is due to...

Am I correct that a Ball Pythons reduced feeding activity in the winter should be due to the shortening of the days they percieve, and not from a temperature change? By that I mean, temps should stay stable in the enclosure year round, correct?

Yes temps should stay stable all year round and ideally there would be no fasting with the correct feeding regiment.

True they will just know when its getting to be winter and not be exploring as much. My guy went off feed last year for like 3 months. No worries though. Keep to your feeding regument and see how things go if your snake refuses one feed keep to their schedule. and before to long he will start back. Just keep a check on his weigh and all will be good.
