Re: Yet another question???
That's not very normal, especially if he's in shed. When they're shedding they like to spend all of their time in a hide. Would you describe his setup? Are you using a heat lamp? How many, what kinds of hides are you using? How are you measuring temps? What are the temps?

Re: Yet another question???
I have a big aquarium with a heater under one side, and a hide the bottem is newspaper then I put a small climbing branch that has a little moss on the bottem. Then there is another hide on the cool side with a good size water dish. I just noticed that he has some little bits of white on the side as I asked about yesterday.

Re: Yet another question???
That sounds okay. The bits of white might not be a shed, though. Does he spend all of his time in the tree and moving around? You didn't say anything about the temps and how you're measuring them. If the temps are off, he might be stressed and is looking for a comfortable spot.

How's your temps and humidity? How are you measuring the temps and humidity? Just trying to figure out if your husbandry is correct. If you're not sure, check out the caresheet. Here's a link to the one on this site.

Re: Yet another question???
I don't have a thermometer, the guy I bought from just told me to have the heater on the one side. What is the best one to get and what is the best way to keep the humidity up? Also I think I should change the hide on the heated side cause it is green plastic and it lets the light in, so I should maybe get another coconut shell instead?

Re: Yet another question???
The best value out there is the Accurite digital thermometer at Walmart for about $13. You can measure the temps on the cool side and in the warm side hide at the same time, plus it will measure the humidity.
Anyway, that sounds like it could be your problem if you have no idea what the temps are. Do you have any way of regulating the temps like a rheostat (dimmer) or better yet a thermostat? If not, then it is probably much too hot for your snake.

Ditto.
Also click on the link to the caresheet in my previous post to find out where your husbandry needs to be.
Do a search on here for thermostats. There are several different kinds to choose from and find one that best suits you. MGreptiles sells some different ones also and also check out this thread on setting up a glass tank. That should help you get started.
One last thing, if you have any other questions check out the search feature first, you might be able to answer your questions faster that way. Good luck with everything and keep us updated if this solves your problem.
