What I like about herp shows

After this weekends MARS show, I came home with 4 new additions. However, the coolest part of the show for me was listening and talking to all the vendors. I learned so much by eavesdropping on certain conversations...like the one where a corn snake vendor was asked, "Now, that I just bought some more corns how big of a tank would you recommend me keeping all five of them in." The look on the vendors face was priceless. It looked somewhere between I made a sale and are you an idiot. Even cooler was listening to his reply, which backs up everything a good snake keeper does and why, and it was very tactful.

Also it was humorous watching this guy trek all over the show trying to sell his pair of albino GREENED eyed mice for $1500. Hilarious. $1500 for a pair of mice. Can you imagine?

I saw and heard a few people who bought snakes and were like "now what can I house them in..."

    Poor animals!

And for the mice.... What in the world?!
I did not see that, but that is nuts! Who cares if their mice have "green" eyes....
