    Ernesto

So right now we're getting pummelled by rain and wind of what is now a tropical depression named Ernesto. Good times.

I noticed that my boa and bearded dragon have been restless the past 2 days. The balls are just chillin in their hides like business as usual.

Anyone else ever notice wierd behavior of their herps during extreme weather? I know they're pretty in tune with outside weather patterns, but just wanted to see if anyone else has anything similar to share.

I havent noticed it. But I know what it is! its the presure that builds up when a storm passes by. they can feel the extreme amounts of presure ,but we cant. Thats how the sharks at the Moody Gardens In galveston died durring rita. Dont worry though it wount harm them.

One of our horses (Emma) has been pretty stressed out about the weather; she just can't get used to heavy rain on the barn roof. But Cuesta, the other mare, could not care less if yuo dropped an atom bomb in the yard (unless it ruined her food supply, lol.) And yeah, my cat has been going buts for no reason, esp. yesterday; but today things are pretty calm.

Yes believe it or not when it snows my bp moves about a lot from hide to hide and generally seems restless.
And no there is no change in temps or humid. within the cage or even the room.
