I Need Help Shipping my 1st Snake
Hello all!
A friend recommended me to come here to find out how to ship my snake certified through Fed Ex. I'm open to other options, but I heard that this is the safest. Can anyone point me in the right direction? Thanks! -Todd

Reptile in plastic cup. Cup surrounded by cotton, newspaper shreds, etc...All that in a foam ice chest. That's how my RTB came

Not being rude here, going by your description of how to ship a snake could be very confusing to a newbie.First off the snakes or whatever should be packed in a deli cup or reptile bag.Second you can not just place a reptile in a foam ice chest(someone could mistaken this for a picnic cooler foam ice chest),it needs to be in a reptile shipping box. This and the deli cups can be ordered from www.superiorenterprise.com. Last you can not just go to fedex and ship your reptile. You need to go thru the process of being certified to ship reptiles.Bill placed a link to the thread here that explains the whole process.

BTW, tmlowe.......The deli cup, cotton, etc. will work for babies and the small critters....But what about the ones that are 2-3# or more????
The thread link will be the best way to get him off to a good start.
