    rack building question

When your building the rack so you dont use the lids on the tubs do you still have to put holes in the sides? How small does the gap above them have to be so they wont escape?

    Re: rack building question

I make mine with a 1/8" gap and I also put holes in the tubs to allow for more air exchange. You might have to experiment to see how many holes you need in order to obtain the humidity that you want.

It also depends on what material you use above the tub. If you use pegboard you may not need to put holes in the tub.
