    She's a little pig!

My little BP is starting to become quite the little piggy latley. Knew it was feeding time last night due to the fact that when she is hungry (every 5-6 days) in the evening she pokes her head out of her hide and just sits and waits for food. So last night drop in a medium mouse and she instantly grabs it up and chows it down, 5 minutes later her head is outside of her hide again looking for food. Ok here comes the secound mouse, snatches that up super fast as well. So pretty happy that she is eating very well and pooping well. Funny story though, on her secound feed my wife is watching and making all the "eeww, wow, that is weird/amazing" noises. Well the snake had the mouse in her mouth, drops the mouse and shoots out of the hide with 1/3rd of her body up in the air staring at my wife as if saying "EXCUSE ME TRYING TO HAVE A NICE MEAL HERE". Then jumps back in her hide and scarfs down the mouse.

Little piggies are always good, and much less stressful than the super model bps. A toast to all the little piggies out there

Yeah its nice knowing I got her set up well and that she is eating well. Its funny how she lets me know when its time to eat though, just sticks her head out waiting for me to walk by.

Yep that's called lurking and they'll often do that when they are ready for a meal. Sometimes though they will also just watch the world go by that way so don't let her fool you into overfeeding LOL. Sounds like a great feeding response and a lovely healthy, happy BP. Maybe the snake can watch your wife eat a burger and go "ewwww cooked meat? condiment? lettuce and tomato? how GROSS! have a nice warm raw rodent instead!"
