    I found this and thought it was about the best thing ive read on Mites and prevention. Includes chart on life cycle.

    I just had to deal with them it was horrible and i felt bad for billy(my bp) because that would itch but the cant itch it but likely there gone

    I thought the use of pest strips, as is suggested by the article, had been discouraged by many experienced ball python breeders.

    Pest strips are not regularly used now. I believe it's possible to cause neurological damage using those strips. So they are not advisable, especially since Provent a Mite is available. I'll have to read the article when I get a chance.

    I did read that article and was not very impressed with it. There is a lot of outdated info in there, as well as very vague directions. If you would like a more comprehensive article then try this site. This is an awesome article!!
