    Quick Question

On Tuesday I will be taking my 2 BPs to the vet to get probed, weighed, and all that good stuff. I want the trip to be as stressfree as possible. What would be the best way to transport them? I was thinking maybe separate shoe boxes with a little substate and some airholes. What would you guys/gals do??? Thanks.

    Re: Quick Question

Put each of them in a pillow case or small cloth sac and tie the end up, and then in a shoe box with some news paper to keep them from bumping around. your guys will be nice and stress free.

    Good luck at the vets.

    Re: Quick Question

We have a few of these in various sizes (we added in the vent holes of course). The smaller ones are only a couple of bucks and the bigger ones around $6.00. Nice secure lids and a handle for carrying. We usually put a dark cloth over them once they are in the car to keep any breezes off them and help the snakes feel less stressed. We also have used this sort of container for transporting live feeders home from the pet store.

    Re: Quick Question

Hey Jo that's the same thing I use. They are great aren't they?
I also keep my bp in that when it's cleaning time.

When it's cold here and I have to go to the vet I take a hand warmer and put it in a sock and throw in there under a towel and it keeps it a nice 85 degrees.

    Re: Quick Question

Isn't that too funny, that's exactly what we do if we have to transport in the cold too! We also use them for cleaning times too. So far I've found them at Family Dollar and WalMart (Family Dollar has some in pink but Mike made faces about me getting those LOL)
