    Which is better?

I was wondering which people think is better. Ceramic lights, or the Red Lights?

I have one of each that were given to me with the ball python I rescued.

I've currently been using the red light, but does the ceramic put out more light, I'm thinking of using that so that its easier to sleep for me at night. (I'm one of the people who needs like COMPLETE darkness to sleep)

So for those of you with snakes, which do you think is better, and if you use over head light, which would you use (I use this in conjuction with UTH, my humidity hasnt been a problem since I've tin-foiled/duct tapped)

I'd like to use the ceramic heater so that I dont have to worry about the light when I go to sleep, because even though I dont, at times I'm often tempted to turn his heat lamp off while I sleep, but seeing as I'm having a hard time keeping the temp up in my cold room I dont think thats a good idea! So with the ceramic heat lamp the light wont keep me up!

    Re: Which is better?

i used the ceramic emitters in my arboreal cages. they worked fine. they do get hot, very hot! i only used 40watt models. i would strongly suggest to only use these with a good thermostat to control them!
