I've only been bitten by a few babies and juvis, nothing to take pics of really.

LOL. It's that other forum that loves the bite and blood pics so much you'd think it was a group of vampires getting high on them.


I've (so far touch wood) never been bitten by any of my reptiles - not even the Sav - I can read him like a book now and can tell what sort of mood he's in. I hope he doesn't take me by surprise one day.

I have been bitten by wild snakes. Rat snakes, corn snakes ect never my snake.. all though my gecko has chomped me more than once. He's fistie.. LOL. When feeding I have a cloth bag and a pair of tongs that keeps the rattie smell off my hands as much as possiable.

lmao, great idea. I use tongs for feeding but I just got done catching the rats, the dog knocked their tub over. I learned that it takes more than 30 seconds of washing to get smell off your hands and arms. Gotta rething my hand washing skills.....

yea I got a canvis bag from the bank one they use to ship oin out in and put the rat in in to dispose of it the just reach in with the tongs and get the rat. Never really touch the rat. I have a cat that would love to play with a rat scented hand

Think its only once or twice by a red tail,least 6 times by various of our or pet store bp's. least 4 dog bites, few cat bites and scratches,been bitten by a goat and a horse, several rats a mice and a pike. It seems if it has teeth it will bite me which is just one reason I persoanlly will never own a hot snake. But other then the horse and the stupid goat most of the bites were reactions to things I did around the creature that i could have avocided and well i just think I must taste good.
