    Welph, we're on day 41...

...and our sole surviving egg seems to be OK; at least it hasn't molded/turned green/started smelling like dead sewage.
I hate pinning my hopes on one small thing like this, but there is one concern I have that maybe y'all could help me with. first off, the egg is only around 65g; is this ok or does it seem really light? It hovered around this weight since hatching; maybe gained a few grams since then, but nothing much.
What is the usual weight, on the small side, of a BP hatchling?

I think my eggs average aroung 98 grams, but yours is dented in correct? So the loss of moisture in the egg could cause it to weigh less.

The smallest weight on my clutch this year was 45 grams up to i think 60grams.At this time the 45 grammer is huge she just needed a little TLC in the beggining. On another note how many new gray hairs do you have from worrying about your egg babies? Just joking i am just trying to get you to relax .

Thanks! I am really rooting for this little guy.
I tried candling with the LED, but I don't think it's bright enough. It is just this little frog shaped keychain LED "flashlight" that really is no help in general; not even bright enough to see a few feet in front of the bearer. I will be making a trip up to my neighbor's place; he has one I could use.
