    a story of humanity

    http://www.evanwashere.com/StolenSidekick/

Long read but interesting. Think of it as "Reality internet story". An average guy just trying to get another seemingling average person who has stolen property...to give it back! Just developed in the last 48hrs or so.

Warning: some "adult" words quoted in the text.

I've seen that, some folks think it's a hoax but I'm inclined not to think so... poor guy. What an awesome way to deal with theft though. Viva le internets!

    Re: a story of humanity

its actually the dude's female "friend" who was/is the owner of the sidekick. I know I feel "naked" if I forget my work issued nextel i530 in the morning...but I can't image "forgetting" a $300+ cell/pda unit let alone in a public place! Both sides of the story have some weak points and plain dumb points in them but its like...I still wanna know how it ends! LOL

well it's a pretty stupid and selfish thing to do...find an expensive cell phone and then screw with the person who made the mistake. geez..just give it back
