    BP Bathroom Question

    Hello!

I was just wondering about how often ball pythons should be going to the bathroom when they reach a year old. Mine is just over that age and has not gone to the bathroom in about 48 days and she is being fed every week. The last time she went it was also very liquidy and not too solid. Is this normal? She used to be very regular, going between every three and four weeks. We have tried soaking her to loosen her up, but so far it hasn't worked.

    Thanks!

    Re: BP Bathroom Question

Its totally variable. I've got a couple the take small squirts pretty regularly, and then I've got others that wait until they are completely full then explode.

I'd say a 6-8 weeks with regular feeding would be a "long time" to go without any kind of bowel movement, urate or fecal. Might want to get him checked out by a vet if thats the case, and especially if the last bowel movement that did took place didn't look normal.
