Substrate question, and humidity question, need quick help

well ive been setting up the new cage for my B.P. Mr. Fuzzy. however the humidity in it is extremely high, were talking "Hi" on the accurite thermometer, and it hasnt fluctuated. in his current tank, it was a pain to get it up to 65% humdity, but now that ive used a true substrate its way to high what are your guys suggestions to lower humidity?

The substrate i am using is called Jungle Bed. it looks like a mulch material, but much much much softer and squishy. has anyone here used this product? does it ever dry out over time? i was hoping that the heat would dry it out (93 hot side on glass) but it doesnt seem like it has.

i would like to move him in late today, or early tomorrow.

    Thanks

the bag itself had a breakdown of what its good for and what its not, along with their otherproducts. it says its good for B.P.s i htink part of the reason is that the air here has not been on consistantly yet, so its been very very humid, and im feeling that with the A/C on it will hopefully lower the humidity to around the 70% range within the cage itself.

im familiar with the jungle bed substrate.i used it before and its VERY absorbant which is hard to keep an acurate humidity.. if i were you i would switch to newspaper aspen or astroturf... or if your using a screen top aquarium, reptibark isnt that bad for me either.. just my 2 cents

its a glass cage, with a 3 section top, and the middle section is screen. there are vents on the sides and back that can be closed, and opened with a cover on/off.

i believe a fan would deffinately help, maybe just the ceiling fan in that room would help the most.

The place where i got this stuff didnt have reptibark, or other stuff and this seemed like the only one i was positive of wouldnt injure Mr. Fuzzy. so i bought it.
