    nice surprise

Last night I came home from work.
the first thing I do is put down my bag and kick off my shoes.
the second thing i do is check on my snakes.
I looked for Khan in his tank and this time we was on the ground and it looked as if he was getting ready to climb a branch. he gets still when i flip the lights on and he waits for a while before he starts to move again.

then i went over to lola. We havent bothered her in a week since I noticed she was about to shed. Shes been hiding for over a week and hasnt came from out under her astroturf at all.(she likes using that as a hide) I was determined to check on her and take a really good look at her. I picked her up and noctied she no longer looked like she was in a shed and seemed a little more relaxed. Dan was all like..."shes not shedding erica...shes alright now, she was in her water dish before and moving around."
I opened up the other part of her house....and I found a complete shed!!!!! I was soooo happy! it came off in one piece something we havent been able to help khan achieve. she must have done it that night since i check her plastic house every night. I was happy for her! plus she had a big ole poopie in the corner by her hide. but yay!!!!

well next is feeding her. hopefully she'll take the f/t rat...she hasnt eatin in two week!
    just wanted to share!

COOL! A nice shed is a good feeling. Burzum my granite python is shedding again and I'm hoping for a complete shed.

Congrats on the nice complete shed! That's always a good feeling when they achieve that and of course you get a lovely shiney snake to admire.
