    Racks

I don't know if anyone has seen the racks that matt has for rhacs that was developed by anthony caponetto, but for how many geckos I have and will have it would cost too much to setup my entire collection in them. Since my dad is a master carpenter I figure building them would be the next best bet. The prob is wether the geckos would stick to the top of the above shelf and I would have trouble getting the tub out without hurting them. Doesn anyone know anything about this. Also I m guessing the clearence would be almost nothing.

    Re: Racks

my husband built me a rack of sorts to use with my cresteds and i also have an arboreal rack that was made by nsreptiles.com. the geckos will sometimes hang upside down from the top or their toes will be wrapped around the top of the tubs--i have found that if you are careful taking the tubs out it's not really a problem. when you start to pull the tub out if there are any geckos in the way just do so slowly and they jump down out of the way so you can pull it out.

I wonder about using that bug stop, that prevents lobster roaches from climbing out would help if you painted the bottom of the shelves.

    Re: Racks

i wouldn't use it for cresteds because they tend to lick everything and i'm not sure that is something you want them to ingest. i'm also not sure that it would prevent them from sticking...
