is he stuck?....
my bp recently found a way into one of his hallow tree decorations in his cage.. its like a ceramic tree used for decorations and he found his way under and inside of it. the problem im having is.... he hasnt come out in about 20 hours... everythings been dark and quiet and hes still in there... should i be worried that he can be stuck or can a bp pretty much get out of anything?.... i dont wanna try to get him out because im scared i might hurt him any suggestions?......

Re: is he stuck?....
Generally.. if they can get in, they can get out. Seems he likes his tree. Tight fitting spots are like heaven for a BP. He feels secure and safe there, and until he's got a good reason to come out, don't count on seeing him.

how do you know he hasn't come out? i would lift it up and take a look to make sure he can get out. if you take it out of his enclosure - he may come out to investigate the couch...

my Nag got himself stuck in a paper towell tube.. I panicked and tried to get him out, but he was in there firm. he did come out on his own. I'm simple for putting it in his tank in the first place LOL
I put it in there for him to climb on...silly me never thought about a hide

its like the middle of his body (maybe 2 or 3 inches of it) is sticking out.... so its small enough for him to not be able to get his whole body in there...

this is what im thinking because i know his usual hide is VERY small... he absolutley ignores his half log 100%.... (personally i dont think it gives a feeling of much security..)

i know this because he usually comes out when everything is dark... and i flipped it upside down in the tank for about 30 minutes and checked back every 10 minutes to see if there was any changes.... nothing
also, i took the tree and put it on the floor for about 10 minutes and sat in silence and he didnt even move.
