    The 48 hours after feeding...

    sucks! /sigh...I wanna hold a snakey.

    It's easier when you have more snakes.

    You could feed your two on different days so there's always at least one snake available for holding.

    I second that - when we got our next snake I made sure to regulate feeding days so they wouldn't collide - our second is also a diurnal snake so I don't get that "empty arms" feeling so much during the day when I can't cuddle Emily

    Good answer! You can never have too many snakes.

    My 48 hour period was up this afternoon, so I went and weighed them tonight. Shogun with his double meal is a hefty 1250 grams, and Q is a dainty 850 for the time being.

    Like the others that posted, I currently feed the third little one on an alternating schedule versus the other two, that way I can always handle someone. Well, she's not too fond of handling quite yet...but we're getting there.
