2end Atempt at feeding
We'll I tried to feed my ball again and once again it just ran from the thing. This time I tried f/t small rat and it litterly took off in the other direction from the stupid thing. It's been 2 weeks that I had it that it wont eat and I dont know how long before that it has been since it had eaten.

Once it was dark with tongs and shook it near him so he would think it was alive. This is my first time trying f/t so did I do it right? I mean holding it an inch above its head or less and wiggleing it? OH yea my temps and humidity is where it should be.

Re: 2end Atempt at feeding
my guy ate first two times i tried by just leaving the f/t next to the hole to his hide. then he started refusing food, so now i've been using a paper bag (open bag, add snake, add mouse, close and let simmer). works great.

Re: 2end Atempt at feeding
When we fed f/t we did the zombie mouse dance thing but with the mouse/rat right on "ground" and sort of tried to move it back and forth like it might scurry about but a bit slower.
Just make sure the prey is as warm as it would be alive and you might try the hair dryer trick. After the prey is fully defrosted and warmed up give it an additional quick heat on it's head and belly area with a hair dryer to really warm it up nicely right before you offer it. Sometimes it helps a bit with making the prey warm enough to help the snake locate it's heat signature better.
