    high school biology

    Ok, im in biology right now and it pretty much sucks. I passed first semester with a 78.4% and now im in second semester and were doing genes. Like the ressesive and dominate stuff. I hate it. But the main reason for this is because I need seriouse help with the punet sqaure. Does any one understand these?

    LOL.. well most of us here enjoy genetics because it helps us understand our snakes better.

    NERD has some excellent articles on reptile genetics.. it explains the punnett square and different mutation forms. http://www.newenglandreptile.com/genetics_intro.html

    Re: high school biology

    I was gonna reference NERD too but I didnt want to step on any toes. Seriously though when you get the hang of searching with +'s -'s and ""s search engines become a LOOOOT more concise and useful.

    But to actually possibly HELP out a tad here. If it's HS Bio you probalby already discussed Mendel:

    http://plantphys.info/plants_human/seedshape.html (has some nice dropdowns)

    +"punnet square" +genetics +easy --> google = http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&l...netics+%2Beasy

    Re: high school biology

    Cool - tinker with those drop-down menus while its still sorta fresh in your mind then.

    And of course throw examples of BP genetics at the class just to confuse them.
