Belly question
Lucifer belly scales kinda look frayed, its hard to explain but i think frayed is the best term is this a sign of shedding? his eyes arent from what i can tell and his skin inst really dull either so im not sure....any help???

Hm... the male I recently got/rescued has this as well. I am thinking it is a sign of mild thermal burns. How are the temps on your hot side? Did you just get this snake and was it like that when you got him.

The temps on teh hot side are about 92 on the hot side...and im pretty sure he wasnt like that when i got him a few weeks ago...his eyes have a blueish tinge but there nothign like the pictures ive seen of other snakes shedding what are soem other common signs?

Right after the eyes turn blue, after about two days, everything appears to go back to "normal" and you think that you've missed the shed. About two days after that, the snake will shed. It varies with each snake, but that's been my experience with Kashmire. Once his eyes go back to clear, I know in about 48 hours he's going to shed and I really bump up the humidity for him (I bump it more as soon as I see a pink belly, but the last 48 hours I mist more often, since I have a screen top and lose a lot of humidity). Seems to work, I've been getting nice complete sheds from my boy!
