Re: Good snake for a intermediate snake keeper
are you sure you a good snake keeper? i remember like 2 months ago your ball python died of unknown causes and you bought another one the same day. im not trying to be rude(sorry if a sound like it). i think you should keep your ball python a little bit longer and then think of getting another, harder to take care of snake.
P.S. i would go with a BCI or blood/short-tailed python, something like that for a "next step".

Re: Good snake for a intermediate snake keeper
Well.. if you are able to keep all of your BPs husbandry requirements correct consistently, I don't think it's a bad idea to think of another snake.
What are you looking for in a snake? There are so many different species.. what do you like?

a carpet python is another choice. I'd stick to either a jungle or an irian jaya.
Coastal carpet pythons get pretty big.

Re: Good snake for a intermediate snake keeper
I hardly think that 3 month qualifies you as an intermediate snake keeper, but of course that's just my opinion. If you're set on another snake, then I think your best plan should be to start researching. Figure out what you like and then narrow it down. That would be the point at which you need to start asking questions. Do you have enough saved up for the snake, the enclosure and the other husbandry items?
