I've been searching on the internet for pictures of ball pythons in their natural habitat to base my cage decorating off of, but haven't had any luck. I would appreciate it if anyone out there had pictures of their habitat would post them. Thanks.

I'd focus more on sanitation, elaborate setups are hard to maintain.

Ball pythons are terrestrial, and basically spend a lot of time in small holes in the ground...think rodent burrow. If you wanted to simulate that a little bit, find a way to make some underground hides. Maybe find some good sturdy hides and basically bury them in the substrate. Once again though, cleaning is going to be an issue because they often defacate in their hides.

i would also like to see some pics of some wild balls, just out of curiosity. i wonder what there size is and everything like that. if anyone has any pics it would be cool to see.

think rocks, tall grass, fallen logs, etc.

you can see how bp live in nature. is excellent video but the only disadvantage is the audio quality. you can see that our terrariums isn't like bp nature.
