i messed up!

I am so stupid. ive been lurking the site and i know that your saposed to let ur ball get settled, ive only had my ball for 4 hours and he had gone into the hide after exploring the cage for a half hour or so. i lifted up his hide box becouse i wanted to hold him, it was sooo stupid and i kno it ( so dont stress that). when i reached in though he like slammed his head under his coil but didnt ball up. did i just mess up EVERYTHING?

Don't sweat it too much. We've all either done it or definitely wanted to do it. That first hands off week is one of the hardest parts of getting a new snake but it pays off so well down the road.

I'm currently in the No Touching phase myself with 3 new babies!! It sucks big time, but as Joanna said it'll be worth it to have nice happy well adjusted snakes. Must resist temptation.....
