    I've always been interested in when they'd finally see one alive. They finally have in Japan.

    20' long tentacle. *shudder* Not an animal I'd wanna mess with. Of course it being so deep in the ocean it's not like it's likely we'd come across it. I'm surprised it wasn't more sluggish, with the temps being so low. Makes you wonder what all is really down there. Very cool stuff, thanks for the link Bryce!!

    A most assuredly scary looking animal. Thing is they report them being upwards of 40 ft. This one...only 26! So they get bigger! Also there is an even more aggressive an bigger one that lives in the polar regions of the world's oceans...The Colossal Squid!
