    Somebody make it STOP!

This is SOOO off topic. But I get into the office at 6 each morning to get work done and make some calls to my international vendors.

They are doing some modifications to the building and are running a friggin jackhammer in here and I'm going insane!!!!!! They're trying to get up two metal poles out of the concrete. ARGHHHHHH!!!!!!!

    "Ah feel yer pain"

Not jackhammers so much but these 7am shifts kick my butt. I am SO not a morning person. Then the constant white noise from the forced air in the subfloor, and the whiny drone of all the fans on all the servers . . . no wonder I've developed such a nasty coffee habit.

    "I don't FEEL tardy . . ."

Can 'ya believe I chose this shift? We have flex hours here and I like beating the morning rush hour (metro Atlanta) on the way into work and getting out of here at a fairly decent hour so that I actually have time in the evening to unwind. I get off at 4. Technically, my hours are 7-4, but I give them 6-4 each day (salaried).

If I'm going to call my international vendors in Malaysia and the UK, I'd much rather do it in the morning than be stuck here in the evening waiting for them to get to work.
