which cage?
Ok I'm tired of the whole rubbermaid thing and I'm ready to purchase a nice living enviroment for my Ball, Corn and Florida Pine snake. But I can't decide who to buy from. My choices are from Vision, Boaphile and animal plastics. So I was hoping that some of you that have these cages could give me some input about your experience with them. Good and Bad.

Re: which cage?
I have some brand new AP T3 enclosures and they are awsome. Solid construction easy to heat and control humidity and the people are great they will work with you to customize you enclosure also.

Re: which cage?
I don't have Tons of experience, but I currently have 4 of my 5 snakes in Vision Cages. Either 211's or 311's, and everyone is very happy with them.
They're so much easier to heat and keep humid than my screen-topped items before. I've never had a snake appear to like Sterlite.
Two things to consider. The visions are Front opening, so it's a little odd coming at your snakes head-on when you've been used to picking them up from above. Another is that the sliding doors make picking a water-bowl a bit of an adventure. If the bowl is bigger than 1/2 of the opening in the cage, you'll have to remove the doors to change water.
Last item. If you use care-fresh or other loose substrate, any burrowing-type snakes may never surface again. My Western Hognose loves making highways in her carefresh. She pops up when she's hungry or curious.
But, in closing, I love the Visions I have, I doubt you'd go wrong with any of the models you're considering.

Re: which cage?
Visions are nice and I'm getting about 4 used in sept. But I have to say that I like the APs much better tons of options on APs and the simple fact they break down when not needed is great.

Re: which cage?
Thank you for all your input. After spending the last two days comparing I have decided to go with A.P. I'm going to be getting the T3 models for all my snakes. Can't wait till they get here. Thanks again.

Re: which cage?
if you do sliding doors spend the little extra and get the glass over the plexi, glass doesnt give when pushed on but the plexi will and that will cause the snake to test it more often leading to things like nose rub.
