    I'm New here :)

Hi, My son told me to come to this site, He is a member here but he just reads the forums. Now I am no way a snake lover and when he takes his snake out i just leave the room...lol But i am a animal lover and i let him have one as long as the tank is secured and it is trust me...lol

Anyway's My son has had King Tech ( the snakes Name ) Since the end of April. King Tech eats live mice and does rather well with them, He started King Tech with 1 mouse every 8 days, But 3 weeks ago King Tech still seemed hungry so my son increased the mouse to 2 mice every 8 days. So far so good on the feeding He never refuses a meal. He feed's King Tech in a medium size tub btw. Here is King Tech eating:

King Tech Has been through two shed's since my son has had it, the first shed went really good, The skin Came off in one piece, But the second shed was not good at all and My son had to soak him to get the rest of the skin off.

The only problem we have is the humidity during shedding. We could use ideas on that though.

King Tech's tank is a 55 gal tank and set up really nice for it.
Here is a picture of it's tank:

So I am sure we will be posting more often if we have questions.
BTW for a snake site your very informative

I went to the image properties and copied and pasted the image URLs into my browser... some worked and some said "Forbidden." I have no idea what the problem is but maybe people can see them if they copy and paste.

As for humidity, you could try covering most of the screen top (assuming that's what you're using) with duct tape or contact paper, that helped me when I was using a glass tank. You could also make a humid hide out of a cheap rubbermaid container filled with moist bed-a-beast, or something similar.

Cute snake, you'll learn to love him My mom got used to my snake and thinks she's cute now. Oh, and welcome to the site! You'll find a ton of info here!
