Spotticus, my sand boa, is 5 years old now and except when he drives me nuts by fasting half the year, he's doing very well (unless he strikes at his mouse and misses and gets my hand instead, lol). I just recently moved him up to small mice and rather than leave them for him to find which is what I was doing with the hoppers, I thought I'd dangle the mouse by its tail. As it swung by his burrow, he shot out to grab it and went waaaay past. I'm guessing he was hungry. �� Anyway, future meals will be tong-fed, lol.

I don't know what I'd do without my tongs. Much as I love my snakes, I like them better when they're not embedded in my hands. I'm glad Spotticus is keeping you on your toes-
Most of my snakes are going crazy about food- it's feeding night here too.
