PVC Enclosure: Glass or Acrylic?

Hi ya'll,

Looking to upgrade the little bp to a larger enclosure. For any PVC enclosure using owners - what are your thoughts on glass v acrylic doors?

Glass is heavier (sometimes -depending on cage design- can "stick" in tracks) but acrylic scratches easily (even from paper towels) so in time it's loses clarity.
Pros & cons either way, flip a coin, lol. Glass isn't all that fragile & retains it's shape firmly, while acrylic has more "give" to it. A BP will likely never be heavy &
strong enough to pop out an acrylic door, but some of the really big snakes have been known to do that now & then.

Always glass. I've used acrylic once and never again. As stated above it scratches really easy.

I have not had problems with Plastic for my BP. But larger adult Boas and Carpet Pythons have warped the plastic by pushing and then escaping.

I’ll never order a cage with plastic doors again.

The only time I’ve had glass doors stick is when the track screws were not below flush level.

I've had both. Plastic WILL get scratched up at some point, even if you're careful. Sliding glass is the way to go.
