You never know...but I hope so too. I am confident that you'll get them figured out, whatever happens. It would be dull if they were all the same, ya?

The difficult ones help us to really appreciate the "easy ones". Just gotta hope they don't gang up on ya all at once, lol.

I’ve been bit by a lot of things but the goal is to not get bit and to not ever put any animal in a position that they want to bite.

I get it, luckily u will get to know their behavior and can somewhat predict their movements and mood. I’ve been lucky that I’ve never been bit by a ball python, just a king snake lol

Apollo is not being a good boy and he looks pink.
So Apollo was out today and I decided to open the doors and see how he would react. No defensive action at all. So I reached in to see if that would change if I touched him and he didn’t seem too defensive about that either so I took him out and he was pretty relaxed with me. He wasn’t eagerly trying to get away or simply staying in a ball either.
I wish I could change the title of this thread to “novice snake owner misunderstands snake and doesn’t give him the time he needs to acclimate” I was the bad boy not him lol.
Also he still looks pink so I guess that’s just his coloring, but I feel like he should be shedding soon as he hasn’t with me yet.

You're making progress already. And you're forgiven...lol. About his pink coloring, are you talking about his tummy (ventral side)? Or all of him? (his back also?).
If you're saying he's pinkish all over, that's just because he's still growing. With young albino snakes, their circulating blood supply makes them appear a little pinkish overall,
until they grow bigger & pack on more "padding". He won't be "pink" forever.

I’m excited! Animal behavior is very fascinating to me so being able to understand different species of animals is really cool and I think it will help a lot with my career field.
It’s more all over so yea that makes some sense. It’s not just his ventral side like I’ve read happens with shedding.

I know what you mean...figuring them out is FUN. Finding out how to communicate, not with words but any which way you can...that's what has fascinated me too.
