Nope. Never hold your breath waiting for something to be righted....cuz more than likely you will die.

Agreed with Deb. Incubator is only part of expense. Tubs and rack for hatchlings, possibly another t-stat, food, etc.

Some things are "too good to be true"- why would someone who is breeding/selling snakes sell one that would likely enhance their income? Unless they know
something's not right -or I guess they might be worse off financially than the OP...but again, a gravid female snake would normally sell for more? Makes little
sense to me. For example, maybe they bred her before & she prolapsed? Or maybe the "reason" she was bred was that they housed their snakes together.
This snake is only about a week away from laying eggs, IF the seller can be believed on this. That's cutting it mighty close.

I just wanted to add that while you may only have 100.00 to your name there are other ways to pay for a vet bill. Care credit is an excellent resource to have for emergency animal costs.

Re: I am new to this but need advice

I always have alot more money than this. This month was a bad month for me lots of stuff went wrong we are in the middle of moving. And i know how much it can cost we have a great supplyer for rodents that sells them. Only thing is i was not expecting this to happen i got her for next season not now! And aslo the person lives far from us and i got her in a trade. I have enough to get an incubator now that i have a family member willing to help out but localy there are no reptile incubators at any stores only a state over wich is idaho
