Moments after this photo, she peed and pooped on me.

My my real question is, is it normal for it to be a bit runny? I’m wondering if it’s a mix of the urine, stress from being in a new home? The husbandries are fine, she just prefers the cool side most of the time. This is her first poop in my care.

it was pretty funny though, I’m trying to get her used to me. After a couple minutes of her being on my lap she straightens out her tail. I think nothing of it and continue watching TV. Well then I feel something wet, then her tail is bulging. I let her finish her duties then I get up and put her back and clean off. Lol I knew she was due for a poop since she ate 3 days ago, I guess me holding her startled her enough to get it out of her.

So it turns out you're a real inspiration, lol. Snake urates are supposed to be thick & chalky, but for some reason, they also do runny ones now & then.
Same goes for their 'poo'...sometimes liquid along with the solids.

I'm not sure exactly why -maybe because water is plentiful so they don't need to conserve it? It seems an odd coincidence that so many of these "wet"
offerings happen when they're being handled...so maybe it's the handling that prompts them to "go" before they otherwise would have if they'd been laying
around in their cave? Under quieter circumstances, they'd perhaps have taken more time to reabsorb the liquid before expelling wastes? But I'm just guessing-

Re: Moments after this photo, she peed and pooped on me.

The urate that came out was pretty thick and seemed normal. The poop that came after however was a little watery. I wouldn’t say it was full on water but it seemed a little more runny than it should be.

And I know, I figured if she was going to go, it’d be when she was on my lap.
