I purchased a male ball at pet smart they told me it was a royal ball I tryed to look the pattern up because it looks yellow on in the middle of side down it looked like a yellow belly by the pictures I've seen haven't seen pics on royals

Royal python is just what people in other countries call ball pythons.

Chain stores really don't know much about reptiles, I would guess you have a normal.
