Question about Ball Python shed
This is my first ball python and this will be her first shed. She is a healthy 5 month old, eats like clockwork and her first shed with us went fine, complete from eye caps to tip of tail in one piece. My question is about the color of her shed, I just wanted to ask if it was normal to be able to see her pattern on her shed. She is a pied ball python (dont know much more then that), and I can see all of her pattern on her shed. Just curious to know if thats normal, hadn't really seen the pattern on others pictures. I have a pic attached.

Not to worry...on some snakes you can see their markings on their shed skins, while others you can't. It's normal either way.

It's cool when you can see their patterns. The markings show up on rattlesnake sheds & on my (late) BCI, & others. It all depends on the kind of snake.
