Well. I say things happen for a reason. It wasn't meant to be.

And now that you were ready to add one anyway...you can window shop and have fun with that until the right one comes along

As I said in a PM, there's ALWAYS more temptation just around the corner, & if you have to think too hard about making the buy, maybe no is the right answer.
Not that I'm a tower of strength when it comes to impulse-buys either! Let's just say I've had plenty of 'practice' in this area.

After looking briefly at MorphMarket for the very first time, there is PLENTY more where this one came from.

    Sorry tttaylorrr!

She was a bute, but it must not have meant to be.

You'll find the next "one" soon!

Yes, you can window shop for more BP's, or you can start looking for Boas! Or both !

Sorry to hear she sold. As others have said, there will be more....and it’s always fun to window shop. We’ll be sure to be supportive for the next round, too.

Re: guys, im about to do something stupid...

I tried PM'ing you tttaylorrr, but your PM box is full!

Did you get a Boa yet? Did you fall in love with one yet?

You have BP's, and a corn snake, so my vote for next snake is a Boa! They absolutely rock!

Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa! Boa!

All kidding aside, combine a BP and a corn snake, except bigger, and you have a Boa. Brave, curious, beautiful, and great eaters!

I literally hadn't held one until 3 weeks before I got Behira and I met the breeder I got her from at a reptile show. He asked if I'd ever held a Boa. I said no. He gave me a baby sunglow male to hold. They are so muscular and soft at the same time. The move with such confidence and power, but gentle as well. I was hooked. I had originally wanted a male BCI because I wanted something smaller. Behira was so cool, I didn't care she was a female. Even then, female BCI's aren't unwieldy huge, but they do need big tanks. Males you can probably get away with a 4X2', or get a dwarf species (although, they often have temperament issues - all depends on the type and individual, but many do).

BCI's come in so many colors and patterns.

I've had Behira for a year and I adore her.

Don't get me wrong. I love my BP Shayna. BP's are my first love in reptiles, and Shayna rocks, and got me back into reptile keeping hardcore.

However, from a pure enjoyment from interaction standpoint, Behira is ridiculous. I love my corn snakes, especially Solana (Figment is usually so ADHD he wears me out in a few minutes). They are docile, great eaters, low maintenance, and beautiful! I love Shayna, so pretty, and so calm. Yafe (carpet python), when healthy, has the potential to be pretty cool too - active, but not crazy like Figment, and brave and curious as well. However, Behira, oh Behira, just takes the cake. There's a reason I have another Boa coming Tuesday!

Okay, I've said my piece. I know you have big plans with BP's, and it's not just a hobby for you. I am not trying to interfere. However, I also know how much you enjoy your animals and wanted to make the case.

My animals are family to me and I plan to have them for life. No breeding, just enjoyment and love. I don't love Behira more than the others. I love all my reptile kids. However, she did open my eyes to another level of interaction with snakes. I will say that. I thank her for that and really enjoy our time together when she's out.

Whatever you decide, I am here to support you and cheer!

Also, this is a little payback for pushing me to get Solana and helping convince Katie it was okay too. Oh, what I meant to say is THANK YOU!

If I had extra enclosures set up, I'd have many more snakes. Lol. There is a Super Black Pastel on there now that I'm in love with. There's a ground viper I think looks fun too. Damn you Morphmarket! My only defense is lack of enclosures. I know I can solve that easily but for some reason it's harder for me to buy an enclosure than a snake.
