Weird Face Scales?
Hi everyone,
My BP looks like she is going into a shed, but she has these white/grey patches on her face that I've never seen before. I have her soaking (because I left town and the person looking in on her was...less than dedicated to monitoring her humidity), but I'm curious what they could be. She's never had scale rot or anything like that so I don't have any point of reference and I don't think it looks like any of the pictures I've found online. Am I panicking over a patch of dry skin?

It appears to just be some scales starting to shed out. Clearly by looking at her eyes she's about ready to shed, those scales may just be ahead of the game.

I agree, I would wait until after the actual shed...it will probably be gone & everything back to normal. Eyes are still fully clouded so it will be a while yet.
